TeleSkin L.T.D. was founded in 2007 in Belgrade. The enterprise is targeted at development, production and sale of products (hardware/software solutions) for biophysical skin diagnostic with special emphasis on early diagnosis of skin cancer and melanoma
TeleSkin decided to engage in early diagnosis of melanoma, since it is the most common malignant human disease with the highest incidence rate during the past 50 years. Melanoma is the most frequent cause of mortality among women age 25-29, while it is the second cause of death of women age 30-34. With early diagnosed melanoma the chances of surviving are over 95%, while its late diagnosis generally significantly reduces the chances to live. Early detection of malignant diseases with the highest incidence and mortality is possible only with melanoma.
TeleSkin plans to design and establish a Serbian teledermoscopic network for early diagnostic of melanoma and skin cancer, and to train medical staff in health centers throughout the country.
TeleSkin's team is made of experienced professionals and young scholars/doctorants coming from many faculties. Each team member has a specific task. Our company manager graduated at Harvard Business School. He is an experienced professional in health and biomedical engineering in the US and Europe. Head of TeleSkin's biomedical sector is a physician with many years of experience in early diagnosis of skin cancer and melanoma and over 15,000 cases in practice. He is a member of International Committee for Dermoscopy. Head of biomedical engineering sector is a professional with international reputation and professor at the Mechanical Faculty of Belgrade.
