Company Elektrosakupljac ltd Belgrade was founded in 2010. with the aim of collecting and later recycling of electrical and electronic waste from citizens and economy by the development of the system for direct takeover of waste. The company owns an integrated permit for the collection and transport of electrical and electronic waste issued by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.
Enforcement of the Law on Waste Management and the Law Amending the Law on Environmental dated mid-2009 ("Official Gazette" of RS 36/09) created a legal obligation to responsibly and sustainably manage waste, to perform its separation and to put larger amount of material back into use again. In the wake of these trends ELEKTROSAKUPLJAČ Ltd. has directed its energies toward electric and electronic waste, establishing cooperation with citizens, local governments, schools, social welfare institutions, public and public-utility companies and with services, shops appliances and computer equipment and other businesses. As electrical and electronic waste is categorized as hazardous, it is not allowed for old computers, printers, lamps, household appliances, small appliances and other similar equipment to be disposed of together with household waste. ELEKTROSAKUPLJAC Ltd. was registered for the wholesale trade waste materials and so we are able to take other waste (furniture, paper and other non-hazardous waste), independently or jointly with other companies that are engaged in this activity.
